I used to think I was a city girl. I grew up in Albuquerque. I wanted bright lights, big city, and a concrete jungle.  But since I moved to Colorado, I became obsessed with Durango and more obsessed with the adventure I find here. I feel supported by the mountains that hold Durango, and the good hearts that fill them. The Animas will forever be a part of my being, and I spend as much time at the river as I can. 

            I am an english communications major, student body president, and DII collegiate volleyball player at Fort Lewis College. I also give tours for the college, work at KDUR 91.3, and news anchor for Fort Fuel News and Skyhawk Scoreboard. I'll link to them occasionally from my blog. 

          This summer I will be working at Ken and Sue's and at getting my yoga teacher certification. And every free second I get I'll be exploring and finding new secrets to share.
